I use my exemplary technology aptitude to make learning experiences more empowering, creative, engaging and student centred for my students. The way I use technology in the classroom transforms the learning experience for my students.
I have experience using technology including iPads, laptops, interactive whiteboards and computer labs to meet my students learning needs. I have vast experience teaching at schools which utilise a 1:1 laptop and iPad program.
Some ways I've used technology in the classroom have included:
-Using Minecraft Education to teach my students about area and arrays.

-Teaching my students to develop their own Google Sites as part of a cross curricular English/Humanities unit.
-Teaching my students to follow the design process to code their own games.
-Teaching my students how to use Tinkercad to print their own 3D toys as part of a Maths unit about 3D shapes.
-Supporting and teaching my students to publish their own writing pieces using Microsoft Word.
-Teaching students to create stop motion animations using iMovie.
-Using iPads as part of a reflective process in which students record themselves discussing a topic that they've learnt about.
-Creating class movies and videos using iMovie.
-Additionally, I create a PowerPoint presentation for each of my lessons which enables the explicit teaching process to be organised and effective.
These lessons resulted in my students developing their 21st century technology skills. My students were highly engaged and were able to surpass my high expectations in terms of the quality of work they produced.
